Past PRESIDENT - Alyssa Willet, M.ED.

Alyssa Willet is a certified Gallup CliftonStrengths® coach, Certified Professional Coach, leadership trainer, and facilitator with over a decade of experience in talent development. Alyssa trained 400 employees on the language of CliftonStrengths in 2014, sparking her passion for helping others unlock their potential.

Currently serving in a global training role at KBI Biopharma, Alyssa designs and delivers impactful manager leadership programs that drive behavior change and support personal and professional growth.

She is also the owner of Willet Coaching. As a professional coach she is known for her warm and collaborative coaching style that empowers clients to leverage their strengths and achieve meaningful results.

President - Jen Relca

As a leadership coach, trainer, and outdoor enthusiast; Jen Recla is on a mission to awaken passion, joy, and the spirit of adventure in every professional endeavor.

With over 15 years of organizational development experience in leadership, coaching, and mentoring, she specializes in creating growth experiences that inspire and equip leaders to build engaged, collaborative, and resilient teams. Laura Dreelin is a learning designer and facilitator with over a decade of experience in talent development and human resources. Beginning her career as an elementary educator, Laura transitioned into the corporate world, where she has led the creation and implementation of enterprise-wide learning solutions designed to drive measurable performance improvements.  Whether working with children or adults, she thrives on connecting with people, understanding their unique strengths, and helping them grow toward shared personal and organizational success.

Vice President of Membership -Sarah Schepman

As an L&D Leader, Leadership/Career Coach and Trainer, Sarah Schepman is driven by the deeply held belief in the value of professional learning and coaching and the profound impact it can have on organizational achievement and employee well-being.  She is committed to helping organizations leverage the full potential of their most valuable asset—their people. She has 25 years experience in a diverse range of industries, ranging from architecture, engineering and hospitals, to educational publishing and technology. Sarah is also proud of her work in elementary education as a first, fifth, and sixth grade teacher. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, a Master's Degree in Adult Education with an emphasis in Teaching and Learning, and an elementary teaching license. She has a real estate license (just for fun!), is a formally trained Coach through the Coaching Academy for Leaders, and is expecting her ICF Coaching Certification later this year. 

When she's not working, Sarah can be found spending time with her husband, four kids, and two playful Cavalier King Charles Spaniels!

Vice President of PROGRAMMING - BRIAN SHIMAMOTO

Brian has over 15 years of experience specializing in helping clients promote and support inclusive leadership through the development of multicultural competency, leadership development, and social justice education. He is a qualified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and is able to provide valuable coaching, cross-cultural team building, and program evaluation related to intercultural competency development. An expert in Strengths-based leadership development, Brian strives to apply the discovery and development of an individual’s natural talents to empower participants to become catalysts for positive change in their organizations. His workshops are highly interactive as well as informative, encouraging participants to discover how their personal experiences contribute to the collective learning of the group: as he likes to say, “...the wisdom is centered in the room, not at the front of the room.”

Vice President of PROGRAMMING (cONFERENCE) - kATELYN wILLIAMS

Katelyn is an Organizational Development and Training Specialist currently driving L&D strategy at the City and County of Broomfield. With eight years of expertise, she bridges the gap between complex theory and measurable performance. Katelyn’s background includes establishing global DEI initiatives for a Fortune 500 company and managing corporate events of all scales—from strategic offsites to 10,000+ attendee conferences.

 Katelyn leverages a unique combination of process rigor and adult learning theory, holding a Six Sigma Process Improvement certification and pursuing an MBA in Organizational Development. This background ensures that every learning intervention and event is designed for equity of outcome and organizational efficiency. As a certified Franklin Covey facilitator, Katelyn excels at equipping trainers to create the psychologically safe and most inclusive environments needed for real behavioral change, ensuring curriculum thrives no matter the political climate.

DIRECTOR OF CERTIFICATIONS - KRISTIN HATCHER

Kristin Hatcher is a Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD, 2020) with 18 years of experience in learning and development. She specializes in translating complex systems into clear, human-centered learning experiences for organizations ranging from federal agencies to private tech firms. Her work spans end-to-end learning design, from clarifying goals with stakeholders to developing accessible content and guiding it through launch and evaluation. Kristin is committed to creating learning that is engaging, inclusive, and genuinely useful.

Katye Edwards is the 2026 VP of Finance for ATD Rocky Mountain. She’s passionate about empowering people through financial wellness, communication, and authentic connection. As the owner of Guided Revision and KINCheck LLC, Katye helps others find clarity, confidence, and accountability in both life and money.

Currently pursuing a degree in Interpersonal Financial Dynamics and Decision Making, Katye brings heart and strategy to every table she sits at—believing that when people feel valued, they show up powerfully.

Vice President Communications - Kayla Archer

Kayla Archer is a learning and organizational development alchemist with more than 15 years of experience designing transformational learning experiences that foster clarity, connection, and courageous growth. Her work bridges strategy and human-centered design, blending organizational development, coaching, and psychological safety practices to help individuals and teams thrive through change.

Kayla holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Communication Management with an emphasis in Learning and Development. She is a certified instructional designer, coach, organizational development professional, and Insights Discovery facilitator. Her passion for development is rooted in curiosity and creativity, and she brings a fresh perspective to talent strategies that accelerate growth and engagement.

As VP of Communications, Kayla is excited to amplify the chapter’s voice and continue to connect members through meaningful stories and resources. Outside of work, she loves exploring play with her son, re-watching favorite shows with her husband, and diving into a new crafting hobby every three months.

Vice President of SPONSORSHIPS - Tracy Dee Lufkin

Tracy Dee Lufkin brings over 20 years of experience in training/facilitation, change management, and project management. She has worked with Fortune 500 companies, leading initiatives that enhance user adoption, support change resistance, and foster collaboration. Tracy Dee began her career as an executive software trainer, helping professionals integrate technology into their daily work, which sparked her passion for adult education and talent development.

Currently, Tracy Dee serves as a Relationship Manager at TrainingPros, where she connects corporate clients with L&D professionals to support learning and development projects. She is also a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, leveraging her expertise to align teams, drive successful transformations, and support organizational growth.  

An active member of ATD RMC, TracyDee has been a dedicated volunteer on the Conference Committee for the past year and will be chairing the 2025 statewide conference. She is passionate about curating impactful programming that empowers the local talent development community.

Based in Denver, TracyDee is an outdoor enthusiast, is active in her community and with her family, enjoying new experiences and past traditions with them before her youngest goes off to college next year.

Vice President of Technology - kRISTINA nASI

Kristina is a facilitator, speaker, and learning & leadership development strategist known for using humor and storytelling to connect with audiences—whether delivering keynotes, presenting research in Spain, or performing at story slams and comedy venues. Kristina has led cross-functional Learning & Leadership Development teams across corporate and nonprofit sectors, driving organizational learning strategy and championing inclusive development programs. With deep expertise in talent development, Kristina empowers individuals across all levels to lead with resilience, authenticity, and purpose. Her dynamic approach brings warmth, candor, and curiosity into spaces of transformation, helping organizations navigate change and build cultures rooted in community and connection. 

A lifelong learner and creator, Kristina writes The Rogue Script on Substack, where she explores her experience with unlearning patriarchal conditioning with the goal of validating others feeling isolated and disconnected in a highly polarized time. Kristina was also featured on The Moth, sharing her story with the vulnerability and emotional intelligence that she brings to her leadership. 

Kristina is excited to bring her expertise and desire for accessible, learner-centered technology to the VP of Technology role on the Board.

Vice President of Certifications - Elizabeth Bayee, CPTD

Elizabeth is an Organizational Effectiveness Manager.  She has worked in various environments such as transportation, manufacturing, museums, non-profits, and now AI technology.  She earned her CPTD in 2019.  Being a part of the study cohort was key to her successfully practicing the Capability Model to adopt it into the work she was doing (and continues to do) in learning and development.  She is excited to give back in a way to help others achieve their goal for certification.   She enjoys learning about a variety of topics and encourages others to be curious. 

Elizabeth has been a part of three chapters, Los Angeles, San Diego, and her favorite, Rocky Mountain.  She enjoys book clubs, spending time with her family, and watching her 12-year-old son expand his interests and passions.  His latest is musical theater where he was Pumbaa in “The Lion King”.

Director of Volunteers - Rakhi Ihiga

Rakhi loves travel and enjoys learning about and experiencing different cultures. Her curiosity led her to live and work on 3 continents which has expanded her worldview, allowing her to bring diverse perspectives to her interactions. She particularly enjoys exploring culture through food and cooking. She's worked in the relocation industry for the last 15 years, both in operations as well as building the global learning and development function. Being part of L&D is in sync with her passion to learn and support people in their growth journey. 

When not working, Rakhi loves spending time with her family doing projects, being outdoors or playing games. She wants to find ways to give back and being the Director of Volunteers fits nicely with that as well as her ability to connect people.

As a learning and development professional, Karen Mooney has over 20 years of experience creating inclusive, results-driven learning solutions for private organizations and federal agencies. She earned a Master of Science degree in Corporate/Public Communication from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater and began her career as a corporate trainer in the healthcare industry. She later transitioned into instructional design with a leading management and technology consulting firm.

A lifelong learner at heart, Karen is excited to connect with her fellow chapter members and share her passion for professional growth as Director of Marketing for the ATD Rocky Mountain Chapter.
