Serving on the ATD Rocky Mountain Chapter Board provides you with an unparalleled opportunity to contribute and shape the direction of the Chapter. Board leaders serve one-year teams, and are expected to actively participate in monthly Board meetings, Chapter events and planning meetings during the term year. The President Elect serves a three-year term to succeed the current President, then to serve as Past President for one year.

Joining the leadership of ATD Rocky Mountain Chapter is an excellent way to enhance your professional development, build you network within the talent development community and broaden your understanding of the latest industry trends. In addition to giving back to your local Chapter, volunteering at this leadership level also offers you access to valuable new executive contacts and to contribute to the larger talent development community.

If you would like to increase your volunteer participation in the Chapter without the time commitment of a board position, we have other leadership roles available. Take a look at the leadership positions available under the open positions section.

Being a member of the ATD Rocky Mountain Chapter has been extremely beneficial. As a member, I learned about and participated in the Virtual CPLP Study Group, a resource which was instrumental in helping me achieve the CPLP certification. Additionally, I continue to be amazed by the knowledge gained from attending Chapter events. The diverse topics keep it interesting and I always walk away with at least one tool or approach that can be immediately applied to my various projects. These experiences, in addition to the networking opportunities that occur in conjunction with involvement, enable me to be active and current in the talent development domain.
