I highly recommend becoming an ATD Power Member. Through our local chapter, ATD Rocky Mountain Chapter, I have learned about concepts such as Learning Circles and Conscious Hiring, which we have implemented at my organization this year. Additionally, I have made many friends and mentors through our chapter – a great group to bounce L&D ideas with. At the same time, ATD National membership is helpful in that it offers access to ATD Education programs at a discounted price. When someone on our team needs to refresh skills or obtain baseline knowledge in a Talent Development competency, my first thought is … does ATD have a program?
