Feedback conversations can either strengthen relationships or quietly damage trust. In this engaging 60-minute session, participants will explore how to communicate feedback with greater clarity, empathy, and courage. Through practical tools, real-world examples, and interactive discussion, leaders will discover how to give feedback that develops others while also learning how to receive feedback without defensiveness. This session equips leaders and learning professionals with actionable strategies to improve communication, deepen trust, and create healthier workplace conversations that lead to growth and accountability.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the three types of feedback and apply the Feedback Game Plan to reinforce behavior, redirect performance, and develop others effectively.

  • Apply the Feedback Loop Model by practicing clarifying, confirming, and perspective-taking skills when receiving feedback.
  • Understand the role of empathy in feedback conversations and use empathy-based listening techniques to improve communication and trust.
Free for members, $25 for non-members.
