About the Career Navigation SIG

Purpose:

The Career Navigation Special Interest Group (SIG) is a dedicated platform aimed at supporting our members in various aspects of career advancement. Whether you're seeking employment, enhancing your resume, or aiming to stand out among your peers, this SIG provides invaluable guidance.

What:

Each quarterly meeting will feature a presentation lasting 15-20 minutes, focusing on insightful tips, tricks, and innovative ideas related to career development. Following the presentation, there will be interactive sessions where members can share their best practices, experiences (both positive and challenging), and engage in fruitful discussions.

Who:

This SIG is exclusively tailored for members of the ATD Rocky Mountain Chapter (ATDRMC). It welcomes individuals seeking feedback on their resumes, desiring insights into interview experiences, or simply aiming to distinguish themselves in their current workplace or job search.

Cadence:

Meetings will be held once every quarter, with each session spanning one hour. Our inaugural meeting will commence in April, and subsequent sessions will be scheduled accordingly.

Where:

The SIG meetings will be conducted virtually via Zoom. Members will receive the necessary links to join the sessions conveniently from their preferred locations.

Why:

This SIG initiative is a direct response to the feedback and requests gathered from our recent Member Survey. We've carefully listened to your needs and are excited to translate your inputs into actionable steps through this dynamic platform.

Join us in this enriching journey towards career growth and empowerment!
