The Road to CPLP

Description:

If you are like me, I was always interested in ATD’s Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential, but I put it off for years because I didn’t believe I could find enough “extra” time to study. Finally, I decided the benefits would far outweigh the sacrifice, so I applied to the program. I learned some great study tips along the way that helped me take a steady, balanced approach to success. If you are interested in the CPLP credential, join this conversation for tips that will accelerate your journey.

Kerri Conrad is the Senior Sales Education Manager for global learning at Hitachi Data Systems (HDS). She is responsible for accelerating the success and productivity of account teams, both within HDS and for HDS’s ecosystem partners. With 23 years of experience in training and education, she has focused the last 13 years on sales performance improvement , with documented business results. Her experience includes designing and managing global sales kickoff training, supporting worldwide deployments of sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger™ and Solution Selling®), and collecting and leveraging “tribal” sales knowledge and lessons learned to help account teams compete more effectively.

Kerri recently earned ATD’s credential of Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP).  She has served on CEB’s Sales Exchange Advisory Council and has been quoted in Sales and Marketing Management magazine and Training magazine. Kerri is also the author of Instructional Design for Web-based Training (© 2000 HRD Press).
