Building Engagement in the Post Pandemic World: Advice for Talent Professionals

Managers around the world are feeling the pressure of an evolving work-place that often has too many priorities and too little time. Additionally, Talent Professionals are searching for the best methods to equip their leaders given the expedited rate of the evolution of both technology and talent. In today's post-pandemic environment, it is easy to get distracted when we focus on the complexity of the tasks at hand rather than simple solutions that can often help drive longer-term positive impacts.

For this this session, join author James Robbins as he walks you through a framework (featured in his book, 9 Minutes on Monday, that transforms your busy, distracted managers into inspirational leaders in only a few minutes a week. Using the Nine Minutes on Monday framework, Robbins will present a transferable framework that enables employee engagement through one simple concept: a constant dedication to on-going conversations that meet the universal needs that drive performance excellence.

Get ready for an inspirational, funny, and highly practical session to help you transform the leaders of your organization. You’ll leave inspired and with multiple tools you can put into action with your leaders right away, including:

  • The "9 Minute" template for maintaining focus on your leadership priorities.
  • Three key questions that will help you connect purpose to paycheck for your staff.
  • A simple coaching model for fast-track staff development.

James will also be sharing stories from the trenches, speaking directly from his experience over the last couple of years working with different organizations to train their leaders. He will share some ideas on what's working now, and how a few simple tweaks can radically transform the effectiveness of your training programs.
