An Introduction to Podcasting as a Learning Channel

Virtual and In-Person

Podcasts as an adult learning tool are on the rise, and for good reason. They’re a great way to complement your in-person training as they can be more accessible and cost effective than other options. They can be downloadable therefore easily fit into daily routines; or, they can be listened to while doing mundane tasks like cooking or commuting. They also can be useful as a way for participants to catch up on a missed session or revisit learning at a later date to remind themselves of past learnings.

Whether practicing your craft as a consulting resource or corporate learning team member, this option should be explored as an option during program design. Lost on where to start? Most of us would be. Therefore, this month’s session is targeted to increase our understanding and minimize our hesitations while pursuing this communication and learning channel.

Join us on Friday, March 10 as Eric Singer from Coupe Studios in Boulder, presents on ways to leverage audio content in your organization through podcasting to advance your training / professional development, recruitment and communication efforts. This program presents a unique opportunity as you will have the option to attend as either a virtual or in-person participant. Register based on your interest and availability. The first hour will engage both audiences, and includes the general presentation covering an overview of Internal podcasts and External podcasts, an introduction to audio production, and technical and content best practice. In addition, for those who are able to join Eric in-person at Coupe Studios in Boulder, you have the option to stay for a second in-person only experience which includes a brief studio tour and a live demo production of a podcast. After the demo, those in attendance will have a chance to react to what they observed and gain additional insight from Eric.
