Discernment versus Judgement
Description:
We all know that masterful coaching doesn’t just happen. It’s the product of being exquisitely present with your clients and having the capacity to quickly perceive —and apply (dare I say?) wisdom.
It’s in the misunderstanding and misapplication of the distinction between discernment and judgement where the client’s and coaches’ wisdom gets lost and potentially excellent coaching gets bogged down in the impotence of mediocrity.
This hour-long webinar begins with a 20-minute lesson, followed by powerful discussion time. It also includes a short demo coaching, where you’ll make some of the key distinctions necessary to do more masterful coaching, now!
Who should attend?
Coaches who are looking to greatly increase depth in the key competency areas of Active Listening, Direct Communication, and Creating Awareness
What will you take away?
- A better distinction between discernment and judgement
- Clarity on how to use each effectively in coaching
- A broader range and greater permission for you to “know” as a coach
- CCEU 1.0 credit through ICF

Ron Renaud is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF). An internationally acclaimed coach and teacher —as well as author of Uncompromised: When You’re Ready to Live Your Life on Your Terms, over the last 20 years Ron has worked with thousands of individuals from professional athletes and Fortune 500 executives to men in recovery, helping them to create their lives on their terms — to live uncompromised.

He’s an avid athlete and student of history and philosophy. In his hometown, he regularly leads a group conversation dedicated to the pursuit of what Ron calls “applied integrity” — weekly, unfolding the question with like-minded people, focused on how we perceive and live integrity in every sphere of life.
