Its fall and time to reset the clocks. Let's see now, on November 5th, do we fall back one hour? Or is it falling forward? I'm reminded of John Maxwell's book titled, "Failing Forward." John talks about the benefits of making mistakes. He has many more quotes and resources in his blog at http://www.johnmaxwell.com/blog/category/failing-forward.
"Embrace adversity and make failure a regular part of your life. If you're not failing, you're probably not really moving forward."
Failing forward is a powerful message. If you haven't discovered this approach, you may want to spend some time with the concept and perhaps read John's book.
Do you have a story about failing forward that you'd like to share. We have a Talent Musings blog that you can use to share your story. See https://www.atdrmc.org/Talent-Musings.
When you fail, not if you fail, use the opportunity to reflect and create a new dimension of yourself that puts the learning into a way of approaching the situation with an outcome that you are willing to work through. Life is an ongoing adventure!
