The ATD Pikes Peak and ATD Northern Rockies Chapters are merging with the ATD Rocky Mountain Chapter!

We are so excited to announce this merge of our chapters and members! Going forward, the Pikes Peak and Northern Rockies regions will be Geographic Interest Groups within the ATD Rocky Mountain Chapter and have representation on the chapter's board.

So what does this mean for 2023? You can look forward to a variety of quality programs -- both virtual and in-person throughout the regions where our members live and work (with many in-person events also offered as a live stream!). More to come on this in the months ahead.

Please join us on October 5 to celebrate the merging of our chapters! This celebration event will take place at Raices in Denver -- you can look forward to good people from an expanded network, tasty appetizers, a complimentary drink on the chapter, free parking at the brewery, and a festive atmosphere.

Click here to register for the celebration event on October 5.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Below are some of the chapter events we currently have scheduled. You can register for all of them through our events calendar.

The Power of Purpose

Wednesday, September 7 | 5:00-6:30 PM | In Person

Now more than ever we are reflecting on our life and contemplating our sense of purpose. The power of purpose gives us the ability to live with choice, dignity, and meaning. Purpose empowers us to both survive and also thrive!

In The Power of Purpose workshop, Kara Sand, CPTD will share heart-centered insights and guide you through a purpose blueprint. You’ll learn practical strategies that will help you leverage your purpose to create success for you and your organization.

Virtual Mentor Group Information Session

Thursday, September 8 | 4:30-5:30 PM | Virtual

Are you looking to join a group of professionals eager to share ideas and grow together? The Virtual Peer Mentor Groups connect you with other talent development professionals. There are four peer mentor groups, each with their own topic, Conversation Catalyst, and meeting times.

Peer mentoring groups are an ATDRMC member benefit. Any member, whether new or experienced, is encouraged to join.  The groups meet twice monthly beginning in mid-September for a total of 6-7 meetings, each meeting lasting about an hour.

You can learn more about how this peer mentoring program works by attending the information session.

Book Club: Wired to Resist by Dr. Britt Andreatta

Thursday, September 15 | 12:00-1:00 PM | Virtual

Read the book and join us to discuss its implications and practical applications for our lives and organizations. This is a great opportunity to discuss the ideas presented during the August 3 program featuring the author.

A unique opportunity presented by the Instructional Design Special Interest Group:

Optimizing Team Cohesion and Wellbeing "Workshop in a Box" Pilot

Wednesday, September 28 | 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM | In-Person

As Learning and Development professionals, we are often asked to scale our training. We have the opportunity to pilot a "workshop in a box" where we will learn new content as well as learn how to scale training. This session is free for all participants.

Celebration of the ATD Rocky Mountain Membership Merge

Wednesday, October 5 | 5:00-6:30 PM | In-Person

ATD Northern Rockies Chapter and ATD Pikes Peak Chapter have merged with the ATD Rocky Mountain Chapter to become Geographic Interest Groups and members of ATDRMC. We want to celebrate this exciting time to network and learn from our larger membership base.

Members will benefit from getting to meet the larger network and learn how our merge creates a wider source for learning.

This celebration event will take place at Raices in Denver -- you can look forward to good people from an expanded network, tasty appetizers, a complimentary drink on the chapter, free parking at the brewery, and a festive atmosphere.
