The Role of Instructional Designers in Change Management

Brought to you by the Instructional Design Special Interest Group: Through this presentation by Aaron Koenigseker we will explore the role of Instructional Designers in the process of organizational change management.

Creating Cohesive and Engaged Teams

Wednesday, June 1 | 5:00-6:30 PM | Broomfield Community Center

The best teams—teams that attract and retain the best talent, and way outperform others—feel psychologically safe, have great communication norms, and are aligned to a broader sense of purpose. Unfortunately, these teams are the exception. This means most managers, who are leading in the most challenging environment ever, have never even been part of a great team environment themselves. This is terrifying.

In this interactive event, learn how you can break the cycle of bad bosses, help your people live more human and fulfilled lives through their work, and make them far more effective, creative, and innovative at the same time. Facilitated by Michael Kester.

Book Club: Atlas of the Heart by Brene Brown

Two virtual meetings:
Thursday, June 9 and Thursday, June 23 | 4:30-5:30 PM

We will read and discuss Dr. Brown's latest book Atlas of the Heart: Mapping Meaningful Connection and the Language of Human Experience.

Speaking of book clubs... Which talent development books do you tend to recommend to colleagues? Share your favorites and see others' recommendations on this LinkedIn discussion thread.
