The ATD RMC Instructional Design Special Interest Group Presents:

Optimizing Team Cohesion and Wellbeing "Workshop in a Box" Pilot

As Learning and Development professionals, we are often asked to scale our training. We have the opportunity to pilot a "workshop in a box" where we will have the opportunity to learn new content as well as learn how to scale training.

Objectives:

  • Learn how to scale training by participating in the "workshop in a box"
  • Learn strategies around running a pilot workshop
  • Learn strategies for understanding and supporting peers under pressure
  • Create congruence between our priorities, values and actions so what's important isn't lost in the chaos
  • Deepen connection and appreciation to build a stronger team

how it works:

Hummingly is piloting a "workshop in a box" where an organization could purchase this kit and easily facilitate it themselves for their team, just using what's in the box. No need to rely on a "certified" or a thoroughly prepared facilitator to get the intended benefit. One of our chapter volunteers will open the box about 5 minutes before the workshop begins and follow the instructions to run the workshop. The group will participate in the workshop and during the debrief and feedback segment, the group will be able to see how the structure works to scale training.
